February 27th

Woke up with energy and enthusiasm. Decided to go ahead and get the pork ribs going, and Sis was game. Course, that might be because she didn't have to do any of the work. Seriously. I also made the white rice with butter. I thought I'd get some help but she medicated and then started playing on her laptop, which kinda pissed me off. Finished lunch with a PS Selections grape fruit bar. In the afternoon I snacked on some plain almonds. When I realized I'd be dining alone decided to for easy. Spread some Skippy's and homemade Triple Berry jam on a plain bagel and called it a night.

February 26th

Going to bed early meant getting up early. Got Sis out of bed and fixing nachoes while I boiled the hell out of some hot dogs. We did our standard nachoes with 1/4 brick Velvetta mild cheese each and some sliced olives to top it. Later in the day I snacked on some plain almonds and enjoyed a Dreyer's lime fruit bar. Never did have dinner. Felt off. Sleepy, groggy, a little nauseous. Sis came home later than expected, then tossed her cookies. She thought she saw a chunk of hot dog in it. I never did check the date of them but they had been in the fridge quite a while. It's entirely possible we shouldn't have eaten them.

February 25th

Very happy I didn't finish my Panda Express last night because it made for a great lunch. There was enough chow mein and BBQ pork left to satisfy. Dinner turned out to be a medley of leftovers as well. Two meximelts from Taco Bell, deli from Albertson's featuring 5 of their tenders and a few potato wedges. During the day I snacked on a Dreyer's lime bar and I ended the day with a nice bowl of fresh cut fruit. Strawberries, pineapple, cantaloupe, honeydew. But the piece de resistance was the marble cake with buttercream frosting. Oh, dear lord, did it taste good.

February 24th

Woke up with the munchies so had a few plain almonds. Sis went to the grocery last night after the big move situation. Bought a two pack of cinnamon rolls for us to share, which I enjoyed with my 1% milk. Lunch was a splattering of tan. 3 wings, 3 tenders and some potato wedges. Wasn't really all that geared up for dinner when Sis was heading back home but when she mentioned Panda Express again I went with it. Enjoyed a couple egg rolls, 4 fried shrimp and some of my chow mein and BBQ, but really, I couldn't eat that much. Sis finished hers and later regretted it. Said she had a hard time sleeping due to upset stomach. Too much food.

February 23rd

Move Day! Despite going to bed in the wee small hours of morning I was up and at 'em right along with Sis. While she headed over to her apartment I moved her car to the street so the movers would have full access. They took about 2 1/2 hours to load the truck while I dined on a Nature Valley Pecan Crunch granola bar, a couple of string cheeses and stayed busy at my desk. Fortunately Marcus the mover was jamming 'cause their were intermintant showers to deal with. Everything was in around 1, I think. Sis and I had a quick bite of leftover Taco Bell. I hit the steak quesadilla and bean burrito. Then we both napped. Moving on an hours worth of sleep is not the greatest idea. For din-din we had grocery deli selections. 3 wings, 3 tenders, potato wedges and to celebrate the move - marble cake with buttercream frosting!

February 22nd

Oscar Day! Woke up feeling motivated to get the day rolling. Considering all the physical work of the prior day I was shocked my knee felt great. No pain. Still a hobble issue, but no pain, so I hit the kitchen, fixed up some scrabbled eggs and shredded cheese for the Sis and I. Topped that off with a PS Selects grape fruit bar. They aren't nearly as good as Dreyer's. Then I followed that with my leftover brownie from Boston Market. So good. Snacked on some roasted almonds and cranberry juice. Took vitamins which I haven't been doing lately. I know I need to. Lunch was a small Stouffer's frozen dinner of turkey tetrazzini. It was good but didn't go very far. Made up for it at Taco Bell for dinner. Downed 2 crunchy tacos, their new cheesy beef burrito and a beef meximelt. Then just to finish off my day I enjoyed another fruit bar, but this time it was Dreyer's lime. So, so, so, much better than that PS crap.

February 21st

Last day at the Sis' apartment. Grabbed a Nature Valley Pecan Crunch granola bar and a couple string cheese before heading out. Packed up some DVDs, CDs and books before having an Omaha burger, Stouffer's small frozen dinner of chicken escalloped noodles and a sugar free Popsicle - Mixed Berry. Dirty up my hands with newpaper packing up fragile do-dads. Crammed the filing cabinets, hit the VHS, basically did everything I could think of to do and was amazed by how much dust I was having to deal with. Stayed way later than I expected. Thought it would go faster, also thought I would tucker out faster. Hit up Boston Market for dinner. The wench serving us didn't give me the dipping sauce for my sirloin dip sandwich but did lather it up with mayo. I hate it when people mess up your order. Downed a side of creamed spinach and a chocolate chip cookie.

February 20th

Major nothing of a day. Lunch and dinner were virtually the same thing. A medium roast beef sandwich for both occassions. Two string cheese packs at lunch, one with dinner. No fruits or vegetables - terrible!

February 19th

Thursday, nothing going. Had leftover Taco Bell for lunch. Three beef meximelts, a bean burrito and a Dreyer's lime fruit bar. Too much. Followed up with another fast food meal for dinner. Gotta get off the fast food, man. Sis picked up Arby's using coupons. It's the only way to go. I had an order of mozzerella sticks to myself and we shared an order of southwest egg rolls. They were alright. Also shared a larger order of the curly fries. Thank goodness I only had one medium sandwich, but still. The sodium level of my dinner was probably high enough to last me a week. Ended the day with some butter pecan ice cream. As if I needed more fat clogging my arteries.
